Hotel Santa Teresa is Rio de Janeiro’s
newest “Design Concept Hotel”,
considered one of the most beautiful
hotels in South America.
A historical coffee plantation mansion,
located in the most noble area of Santa
Teresa – cultural and historical heart
of Rio de Janeiro – the boutique hotel
was restored with charm and
sophistication as an exclusive reference
of Brazilian Tropical Design.
Peaceful, sophisticated, well-lit, each
room and suite of the Hotel Santa Teresa
offers an exclusive and relaxing
ambiance.
The design of each room is unique and
luxurious. Some rooms offer bath tubs
made of marbled cement, others designed
by Studio Vitty in Corian while
bathrooms are outfitted with golden
slate and Ypê wood floors. Most suites
have a magnificent varanda in the garden
shade with the scent of jasmine, an
ideal spot to enjoy a red berry
caipirinha while admiring the toucans
and marmosets in the palm trees. Other
rooms have beautiful and unique views of
Guanabara Bay, the city and the
marvelous sun setting into Tijuca
mountain.
In every room, art pieces by fabulous
Brazilian designers; Sergio Rodrigues,
Carassas, Studio Vitty, Zemog, Rock
Lane, personalize the modern design and
natural elements of these spaces.

In this
multicultural land with a strong
religiosity, Orixá's divinity is
highlighted at Solar dos Deuses -
Suítes de Charme. Each suite is
a special place to honor the local
culture and the African-Bahian
tradition of candomblé.
There
are seven spacious and comfortable
suites with distinct furniture and
works of art. Furniture and other
pieces which were found in antique
shops are placed all around the
hotel, bringing a little of the
secular history of Bahia into the
manor.
All suites have TV LCD 26'' with
remote control, Cabo TV, telephone,
minibar, air conditioning, digital
safe, and Internet connection.

to keep the original spaces in the
mansion. There are only have nine
apartments, all diferent.
High ceillings (4,5 m), floor in precious
woods, Baldaquins beds, colonials
furniture, and decoration made with love

be a unique option in Rio de Janeiro.
The Hotel has only
66 rooms, in 11 floors: 44 Deluxe rooms;
11 Junior Suites and 11 Executive
Suites. The rooms are equipped with
Queen size beds; feather pillows;
21-inches flat screen TV; Air
conditioning; broadband access to
Internet; Hair dryer; amenities;
24-hours room service and welcome drink.
The suites also
feature a DVD player; Portinari-style
